It is now 3 months after D-day. NC was put in place immediately and WH and I have been in recovery. It hasn't been easy but seems to be getting better. That is until yesterday. I got some information from an annonomous source that said he has had affairs on and off for the last 10 years with different women(we have been married 14). This annonomous source was the one that told me about this last affair. I don't know how trustworthy the source is, but I also don't know how trustworthy my WH is.

I blew up at him and he denied it. He says that there was no one else and whoever gave me the information (I didn't tell him how I got it) was lying to cause problems. I told him to prove it and he said that he would do whatever it took to prove it including a polygraph test.

Does anyone out there have any advise they can give me about polygraph tests? How do I find someone reputable to do it? How accurate are they? How much do they cost? How many questions can I ask?

I found mine by googling polygraph+name of my city, and then I went through the results looking at their credentials. I wanted someone with relevant experience, not just someone who has been recently trained and doesn't have the experience to back it up. Not cheap--$500. The guy I chose has 20yrs and has done over 3500 exams, at the federal level of government.

We haven't talked about the questions yet--I have to wait until after the new year because the examiner has surgery next week and won't be back to work until January. He offered to introduce me to one of his colleagues for a quicker test, but I'm going to wait. I looked at his colleague and he's only been at it for 3 years.

There's some people on here who have already been through this and can help you more. Just wanted to share how I found one.

What usually happens is once you arrange for the polygraph, the truth comes out - often the night before.

Thanks for the replies.

He swears the story he is giving me is the truth. Even if the story were to change the night before the test, I will still go through with it.

Unfortunately things have to go pretty far in order to resort to this type of thing.
