I have just learned that a very close friend of my extended family is an alcoholic. She has always been very competent and is a very hard worker. She is one of those alcoholics that has amazing endurance. Her H is not willing to admit the seriousness of the problem--but it is serious. What do you feel are the best web sites to give my family information to help them communicate to her and her H regarding facing the problem and not enabling the problem. They are very very close to this couple and could probably put together an intervention that could work. I interact with the couple regularly and I had no idea. But now that I know, I will be pretty forthright with them in some upcoming event planning that I will be working closely with them on. I will not enable the behavior--did that two weekends ago when I did not realize what the problem was all about.
