I LOVE it. Hopefully he gets whacked in jail! More likely though...he will be a hero to many there.

Funny how there were no celebrations in the street over this like when he got away with murder.

Although he was clearly guilty of murder, **edit** His actions after the trial are what really disgusted me. Claiming to "Look for the real killer" and writing a book about how he would've carried out the crime if he had done it. Then, after being incredibly lucky to avoid serving life in prison, he pulls this nonsense. What a dunce.

Although he was clearly guilty of murder, **edit** Well, isn't that interesting. Why, pray tell, were they "asking for it?" As I understood it, Goldman was returning a pair of glasses that had been dropped by Nicole's mother. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nicole was divorced.

Although he was clearly guilty of murder, I never had much of a problem with lopping Ron and Nicole's heads off. They were asking for it. Well, isn't that interesting. Why, pray tell, were they "asking for it?" As I understood it, Goldman was returning a pair of glasses that had been dropped by Nicole's mother. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nicole was divorced. I could be recalling the events leading up to the murder incorrectly, but weren't Ron and Nicole fooling around before the divorce? I thought they were. **edit**

**edit**
I understand rage at betrayal, but beheadings (or near beheadings) are primitive and medieval.
I think the Goldman's are a class act. They remind me of the phrase, in the Hebrew Bible, "Justice, justice, shall you pursue." and they have done exactly that.

Only OJ's stupidity is landing him in prison, probably for less than 10 years. I've always thought that if OJ didn't draw so much attention, Mr. Goldman would've had him whacked long ago.

Krazy...you are sincerely warped. She was divorced from an abuser. Simpson terrorized his wife for years and finally killed her.
You have serious mental health issues.

You're recalling incorrectly. OJ and Nicole had been divorced for two years at the time of her murder. Nicole had been a battered wife. I don't believe that she even knew Ron Goldman while she had been married, let alone had an affair with him.
The Simpson marriage was abusive and he was unfaithful. She eventually got out and got full custody of her kids - who were sleeping upstairs when she was murdered. OJ went on to abuse his next girlfriend, Christine Prody, who has had numerous "accidents".
I hardly think that either Ron or Nicole was "asking for it". The marriage was over. OJ was still jealous and stalking his ex-wife.
I find your read of the situation pretty bizarre.

I find your read of the situation pretty bizarre. When it was all happening, I didn't really care. Frankly, I was annoyed at hearing it on TV and seeing it in newspapers constantly. I was way off. Oops. Well, maybe the judge will give him a "make-up" sentence....the max.

You have serious mental health issues. Awww...are you trying to gaslight me? How cute! My mental health issues aren't serious (not THAT serious), my memory of the whole OJ thing was wrong.

Krazy, Nichole and Goldman weren't having an affair.
****edit****
Besides, SHE WAS DIVORCED from Simpson and was free to do whatever she wanted.
Besides the reason there were no riots when OJ got sentenced, they were too busy stampeding in Wal Mart for cheap [censored].

Krazy, The Goldman's prevailed in their civil Wrongful Death lawsuit. ("Pursue justice".) He enjoyed the limelight. Not realizing that with the different rules of evidence in civil court, evidence not allowed in a criminal trial would be allowed in. The whole ugly story came out. His own friends exposed his a lies about the murderers through their testimonies. The jury awarded the Goldmans a huge settlement and his property became forfeit to them. Simpson scurried around and hid as much as he could, but some stuff ended up in the possession of others. The Goldmans used the only means available to them for justice - the civil judgment - and went after one of the only things that mattered to Simpson - his "stuff." And as a consequence of his ego and greed and stupidity, and because he was never held to account for anything bad he ever did, he believed he was invulnerable. He believed the law was for other people. So, without thinking of consequences, without thinking of the law or of the safety of anyone else, he went to get his "stuff" back. It's like a string of pearls. One thing led to another. The relentless pressure of the dead man's family helped to push him into self-destruction.

And don't forget the "ugly-[censored] shoes." That got him, too. "I would never own such ugly-[censored] shoes." said snO.w J.ob BUSTED!! I am SO glad Daniel Petrocelli was able to get those shoe pictures into evidence! That was a hairy moment!! But he prevailed. Yay!! Charlotte

Oh yeah, and Peter Jennings was so excited when they showed the shot of snO.w J.ob and his family coming out of the courthouse after the verdict in the civil trial...he said..."And here comes Mr. Guilty!!"
Totally his subconscious mind controlling his tongue at that point! LOL!
