The end is definitely in sight! I signed the final papers today (STBXWW signed them on Monday) and they will be submitted to the court this afternoon. My attorney said they should come back approved within the next two weeks.
A notable event that happened between my last post and now is that STBXWW was in a car accident. She is fine, but the car was deemed a total loss.

Received a copy of the filed papers this weekend. I am now legally single. Woo-hoo! So the answer to this thread's title is: 11 months.

From the time I realized divorce was the only option left, Nov 08 to when I was divorced was two months...I paid extra to have the waiting period waived...of course, getting him down to sign cost me a $50,000 loss...but I needed resolution and also a cap on what he was costing me and could do to me.
