I had a long post where I divulged national security secrets in an attempt to explain the military interrogation reisistance techniques I used against Darth WHNACG, but felt it was best not to tip my hand since it's so easy to play with this man when he's questioning me.
So I won't reveal the secrets.
I kind of feel sorry for my ex. She hired this guy probably on someone else's recommendation. I'm sure they had plenty moments where they really thought they stuck it to me and showed me good. I remember hearing them laugh at how much of a smart mouth this guy is.
The problem is that guys like him don't do their clients any favors in family court. They come off as annoying and arrogant and more interested in litigating than in serving the interests of their parties.
So they could laugh all they want at how they stuck it to me.
All that matters is what the judge decides.
The judge decided to give me shared physical custody and to drastically reduce my CS.
A better attorney, like the one that use to run her case, would have advised her to make a settlement that worked out on her behalf and to not risk "winning it all" like this idiot surely encouraged her to do or convinced her to pursue.
Their little "we can pursue contempt against him" didn't impress the judge. It showed they were more interested in litigating than in ending the madness.
Again, I blame her attorney who is more interested in winning than in his client's interests.
They did give her one thing. They said I have to pay $500 of her legal fees.
I feel like sending it directly to him with a note of thanks for being so incompetent.
My attorney told me that her worst losses were cases where they felt they really stuck it to the woman. That "destroy the ex" attitude really cost her before.
We literally just sat on the sidelines, rarely objected, and didn't say one single negative thing about my ex at our hearing.
Have to say that there were times I was sitting there and wanting her to say more, but she knew what she was doing and it paid off.
My hats off to her. She beat the Sith Lord handily, or at least would say that I did after all her teachings to prep me.
