Bummer on all the lost posts - I felt I was in a pretty creative mood yesterday and now my creativity is floating through cyberspace....... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I have followed your situation closely in lurk-mode and am so sorry for all that you have been through.
Your letter says it all. My only comment is in regards to the paragraph:
"I have tried the best that I know how to express my love for you and my desire to have you in my life as my wife again. I don’t know what else to say. I could hold on, make myself a nuisance of myself but I love you too much to cause you anymore pain than I already have. I just really needed you to know how much I still love you and how sorry I am for all the mistakes that I made. They say that we should learn from our mistakes, and I know that’s true but I just wish the lesson didn’t cost so much."
In addition to telling her that you "could hold on, make a nuisance..., love too much to cause more pain", would this be a good place to again state that you NEED to do this or else the little love that you have left would be gone with little hope of returning? Doesn't hurt to re-emphasize that she's at the last rung of the ladder of your love and once it is gone there will be no turning back?
You have obviously put much time and thought into your letter and are likely very nervous about the potential outcome. My thoughts are with you.
Cheers
Lisa

Bill,
Your letter is wonderful. After reading it, I don't think I could move to Plan B yet as my Plan A is a pure wreck. But good luck and I hope it all works out for you.
Dana
