Any ladies out there have problems with this area?

I had to have emergency surgery over the weekend to have a marsupialization of the Bartholin's gland done. My problems started last Tuesday with a slight ache in the groin and progressed over night to a massive cyst by Wednesday morning.

I was hospitalized Wednesday night after a trip to emerg.

The pain from this thing was horrible! I am three days post op, and starting to feel a little bit better. Been having sitz baths for the pain and to help heal. Also, will not be able to get in until March 9 for my follow up.

My questions, for those in the know... how long did healing generally take? How much longer will drainage continue?

I stopped with the Tylenol 3's yesterday, as I found the only pain I experience now is from moving a certain way, or getting up too quickly. So, I am winging it without pain meds, and so far, so good.
