Please help!!!! I have been with my husband for about two years now, and his mother is soo involved. she is controling to the point that when he comes home to visit he is not allowed to leave the house because of her fears. just recently we have decided to move in together after i get my degree, she has a huge problem with that, and now she is seriously attacking my character. i have tried to find a middle ground with his mom but she tells me that she has no problems with me and that i'm like a daughter to her, but she tells him other wise. she has told him that i'm tring to come between him and her relationship. i need advice as to what we can do, we have both gone and sat down with her and tried to work it out but she is not listening to us and her clutch on her son has tighten, i really need advice please. thank you!!!!!

I hope a vet comes in and helps.

y inital suggestion is that your H has marreid YOU and should be protecting and supporting YOU.
His mum is important, but like the good book says.."He has cleved to you and you are one flesh".. and mum is not part of the marriage.

He needs to set boundries and say "Mum I love you and Mrs TRT and I need to... We love you, and you are not a part of our M..
Also, what did you mean by

just recently we have decided to move in together after i get my degree

Is that you and your H moving in together, or you and H, and MIL?
