.....about infidelity - what else? Technically, it was a double article, one a BS perspective, and one a WS perspective. The writer's guidelines said I should hear back in 8-12 weeks.

This morning I found an acceptance in my email box. I'll let you know when they pick a publication date.

Thank you! kiss

I am sooooooooooo excited right now!!!!!!! Overnight acceptance??? faint faint faint

Neaksis thinks "Joe" and "Jennifer" are pretty thinly camouflaged in the article, but if the reader knows us, they already know anyway, and if they don't know us, they don't know. laugh Very profound.

Did Neaksis always want a sister named Jennifer?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Congratulations on being published again. T&L always said you had talent. At least, I think that was what she said.

(grinning widely and wildly)

Anyone else remember when Neak first found us?

(contented sigh)

I do a lot of that contented sighing thingy now.

Glad for it, and glad for you all,

kiss Thank you my love! kiss

And yes, "Joe" and "Jennifer" are very happy now. I sent them all your well-wishes. They were very touched. rotflmao

Neaksis was dissatisfied with the articles themselves, though very happy both about the acceptance part, and the cute little info boxes. You'll probably agree with her POV once you read them.

See, the max word limit for an article is 1,000 words. Even splitting it into 2 articles, his and hers, that's still not very much room. How do you condense 6 months of 24/7 nonstop high drama into 2,000 measly little words? While still covering the teaching points of dealing with and recovering from an A????? It canna be done. All I could do was throw out a few hints of the drama.

So when you compare the bare-bones account in the articles with the full story of what happened, the articles do seem a bit tame by comparison. But the nice editor, who is not acquainted with the full story, called them "powerful".

For any dissatisfied customers, I have the same advice as I immediately gave Neaksis:

Wait for the book. grin
