Imagine, Thanks for all your replies and advice. I hope that you're not feeling this is all made up?
Wife gone Home torn apart Children struggling Family devestated
I have said many times before that I know I've not done a perfect job with all the MB plans and programs. It took a little time to get my act together, but I DID ACT.
I am a better person today as a result of my WW's affair.
Still hurts though. I struggled with this because of whom I have become. I feel that my hurt is enough for us all. Kinda sad, I know, but I felt that just maybe by doing this, I would be crawling DOWN to his level.

Maybe you should change your name from "kickme" to "kickedOM" You're doing so well, in being concerned with your son. I applaud you for being a good dad to your son.

I am a better person today as a result of my WW's affair. I take it that the kids are with you and your WW is with the OM? Would I love to be a fly on the wall when OM returns home to inform WW that he lost his 12-year job due to their A. They will blame you, of course, but it should eventually sink in that they're the ones to blame, and that's likely to lead to a few more deposits in the resentment bank.

I applaud you for being the kind of dad to your son that I don't have myself. /jealousy (I will not T/J) Thanks...I really mean it. Somewhere in all these posts or plans, we read to make your home a warm and inviting place. I realized very early on that DS12 was the one to suffer. Can I one day find a person that is deserving of MY love and will love ME in the same way. Sure. At the time that your life flashes before your eyes you realize you HAVE to make decisions right on the spot. I made the choice to raise my DS in a warm, loving, caring environment. Well, not true, I didn't decide, it just happened. I am very proud of my son and any advice I can give to someone here is....just love your children....you will be made whole because of it.

I'm jealous, really, of your son. In all seriousness, though-- Tell us what happens when they get the news. I bet your WW will be spewing more venom than...anything.

Thanks all!!
Sheriffs office is 10 minutes away from mine. Soon as I posted, I thought WTF am I doing?
So, I walked in with my head high, shoulders back, and chest out....(didn't know it, but did) and I
SIGNED THE COMPLAINT !!!!!
Walked out without looking back......damn the torpedoes!!!! Well played, Sir!!! MB needs a big "thumbs up" emoticon for instances like this.

Unfortunatly no...DS12 stays with me about 60% of the time. I was just plain uneducated and didn't know that on D-Day, when a WS leaves the M and takes the children, the BS has already lost the custody battle. So NEVER ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO LEAVE THE M HOME....NEVER!!! My WW, somewhere in there is still a good mother and unless SHE is judged to be unfit, I will never have full custody. This whole IA investigation has been ongoing for a long time. I have never heard a peep from WW, but I KNOW she and OM were interviewed. I think he feels that he has beat this....oops! For anyone that wants to know.....I promise you that when your WS and the OP are brought to task.....they lie, and they lie badly. WW was in fear of her life and she needed help immediatly, but yet didn't call 911, she called OM's cell BEFORE she arrived at our home. Maybe she wasn't that afraid after all. I think someone in IA figured they were lying.

As I read your thread I couldn't wait to get to the end to tell you to sign the complaint.
I was going to say your actions did not get the OM fired his behavior got him fired.
To lose a civil service job, retirement pension without health benefits. Good chance OM will wind up in a lower paying job.
Not your problem.
It's his and your WW's problem that their dream is gone.

I think you should take DS12 out for an ice cream and tell him what happened, and why you did what you did, and that it was the OM who lost his own job, not YOU. Your son needs to hear that. That you chose integrity. So he will do the same in his life.
I agree; he's lucky to have you.

I picture it like this.
WW: -to DS- Your father is a very cruel and vengeful man.
DS: ?
WW: He caused poor OM to lose his job! Don't you think that's horrible? -insert WS babble-
I agree with the others. Tell him before she has a chance to.

This guy knew what he was doing was wrong when he did it...iin uniform etc. He thought that he would get away with it. It shows his superiors that when given a chance to do something wrong he will do it if he feels sure he can get away with it. Not someone that should be in uniform!!!
