As with most everyone here, I've been watching both threads and watching the complete anialation of a marriage and family. It saddens me to the core....especially knowing that their children are the real victims.

In the midst of all of this, I believe that there should be some semblance of peace for the family and God is the only way.

I will start.

"Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus' name and we ask that you place your healing hands upon this family in crisis. Father, we ask that you lift up this couple and heal their battle wounds and give them peace within themselves and that they place their brokem marriage at your cross. Wrap your arms around their children and let them know that even though things are unstable, that you are always there for them. For you are the Father to the fatherless and they will never be alone. In Jesus name we pray, Amen."

Dear Lord, You are the light of the world. I ask that you bring Your light to this family and let it shine strong within each of them. Hold them tight in your loving arms giving them peace and understanding. And may they find comfort in the Prayer of Saint Francis de Sales.

"This cross He now sends you He has considered with His all-knowing eyes, understood with His Divine mind, tested with His wise justice, warmed with loving arms and weighed with His own hands to see that it be not one inch too large and not one ounce too heavy for you."

In your name I pray. Amen
