Spent the evening with GF. I took her to a nice place and set it up so that she had two cards there. One was from her dog and written in dog.

Got bonus points for that one.

I then had the restaurant staff bring her a dozen yellow roses with red tips (signifying "new relationship").

Had a great dinner and then came back to my place to make the beds for the kids and vacuum for the next day and their weekend with me.

She helped me.

I gave her her side gift, which was a Snuggie. Some think that's a bad gift, but she liked it.

She got me a CD which I lost in my D and that I mentioned months ago when we first met.

It was a great night.

We're going out to eat then coming home to watch Fireproof together after the kids go to bed. Not the most romantic and special V-day in our history, but then again we're not in a place for over the moon dates. Hopefully someday...

This could be a great idea and end nicely...or she could go berserko, storm out of the bedroom and sleep on the sofa. Again. Flip a coin.

ETA - I delivered a gift bag to her work today with a cute little stuffed possum (kind of an inside joke, you wouldn't understand), lots of her favorite chocolate stuff and a Diet Mt. Dew (also her favorite). It was a day early but I wanted her to get it at work. She called to thank me and tell me I was "sweet."

Well Baron I wouldnt get too carried away, you got away with the snuggie because of the other cool stuff! After that she would have said a hot water bottle was nice!

I was at CVS getting Valentine's candy for the family when I saw buy one perfume get one free, so I bought myself a couple bottles of Opium. The lady asked me why I was buying it, Valentine's Day is tomorrow, and I said cos I know my H won't. She kinda didn't know what to say.

A snuggie is a blanket with sleeves, so that you can be warm watching TV in the evening.

So far, had a bad night sleeping ..got up had breakfast. watched an hour of tv.
Called my mom, girls, went back to bed.

Weird...doorbell rang, got up answered in in about 20 seconds. Go to door -- NO ONE is there. nothing left, no car leaving the street, no one walking down the street. I know I did not dream it because dog was whining at door. very weird.
