Claire - Sounds like you have a good foundation in the Bible. Hang in there. Many will discourage you. But I truly believe that the Lord made homosexuals and blesses them.

It is ludricous to think that they chose to be gay.

God BLESSES homosexuality? crazy That is blasphemy. believer, homosexual behavior is a CHOICE. Of course a person chooses that behavior. they may not choose a predisposition, but they always CHOOSE how they behave.

But that doesnt make sense. If there is no medical test to discern if one is "hardwired," then it cannot be logically asserted that one can't change. People can and do change and we have no way of knowing if they ARE hardwired.

Yeah...and maybe all those schizophrenics out there just need to decide to make a change.

C'mon. It's common for women to experiment with other women, especially as young adults even though they're never actually gay, but men?

I've never seen a single example of a gay man becoming straight. EVER. Those who claim to have been "cured" by religion are obviously lying. Celibacy is not "becoming straight".

Why on Earth would a person ever choose to be gay?

So, it's ok even if they are born gay, as long as they never act on their natural urges. Just remain celibate for life, huh?

It's ludicrous to hear you say that Believer.

You'd have some scriptural references to support this rubbish??

Can you give me a single example that doesn't involve some sort of ridiculous "straightification" by a religious group, the result of which is a gay man making a laughable attempt to appear straight?

I'm sorry Believer but God does NOT change. How inconvenient for you. It must suck having no basis for your beliefs except for the shifting sands of time. Why is adultery wrong again??

Haven't you heard? God teaches Christians to love everyone, as long as they are from the same country, practice the same religion, and are straight.

Nothing like being so open minded your brains fall out.

Feel free to prove me wrong. Such a monumental accomplishment should've made the news at some point.

Such a mind-over-matter procedure could work wonders for bi-polar and depressed people the world over.

Actually NOT. He furnishes this web site FOR FREE and makes available all the necessary material to save one's marriage for those who cannot afford counseling or a MB weekend. He is so anxious to help people that for a very long time he paid for a radio show out of his own pocket and gave away FREE books to anyone called in with a question. He sells his books online for cheaper than what you would have to pay in a bookstore.

So your insinuation that he lies to make money is very false and very inappropriate. The Harleys are generous to a fault. His "agenda" is to help people, not to lie to them to make a buck.

If being gay is a choice, then gay people must have the urge to sleep with members of the opposite sex too, but they chose to ignore those urges and behave as homosexuals, correct?

Krazy, we don't choose our URGES, but we do choose our actions. For example, I had an URGE yesterday to steal a new COACH PURSE from Macy's. I CHOSE not to act on that. laugh Behavior is a CHOICE. And homosexuality is the same as any other sin. It is not any different from any other sin. We all have urges to do wrong things. And then we CHOOSE to act on them or not. Just because one has an URGE does not mean they should act on it.

YIKES! I must have lived in the land of fruits and nuts too long!

People here need to step up and face reality.

NO ONE chooses to be GAY. No one chooses to be a pedophile.
