So the hype is bad, "soiling, power dumps, gasseous soiling" NOT!!!. I have started this OTC orlistat and IF you follow the rules, none of that SH#* happens~!!! Honestly!!. If you don't write down your food with fat grams, yep you may get in trouble. I got "product effect" one time...thought I could eat a fatty breakfast the morning after I had an honest day with 3 pills...got me and got me good....follow the rules and you will have to eat healthier, and you will be called to task to it if you don't.....not much different than we do to our WS'S is it? This pill is a Godsend to me, no more excuses.....I take the pill I AM ACCOUNTABLE!!! And I even have IBS. There is no effect on my IBS with this pill. I may even be better since I am now avoiding foods that would ordinarily flare up my IBS. So I 've only beeen on it for 3 months and I Have lost 17 lbs, not Biggest Loser numbers but I am pleased. This will, help my cardiac health at my age. Good Luck to anyone who tries it in ernest!! GF

I lost 25 pounds on Alli last year. And I'm back on it again, cos it does work; if nothing else, it forces you to eat more carefully.

For me, Alli didn't have any of the famous adverse affects at all. Actually, it created the *ahem...trying to be delicate here* opposite problem. I took it for 2 meals each day for about 2 weeks. I even tried a couple times to make the bad stuff happen by taking a pill after eating very fatty meal. Nothing. I was really disappointed. Since I knew the pill wouldn't have potentially embarrassing after-effects, the only accountability I had was my own inner resolve. Yeah, I didn't lose anything.
