Wow, what a beautiful story, and what a great family he had.
I can't copy and past from the link on this laptop for some reason, but did you read in the link about Mr. Nolan where he described how the words (not word for word) "flew around in his mind uncontrollably, and cascaded down his lap"? Every great writer (and painter, composer, etc) I have read about says close to the same thing. How they don't know where the stuff comes from, it just comes through them and onto the paper. I think that is so awesome and that is one of the reasons I still believe in God, or a greater universal connection, if you will.
And the article also said that the song "Miracle Drug" by U2, words by Bono, was about him, a classmate. Going to have to pull it up and check it out.
But OH, this was to Faith, not me, sorry. LOL
Hey Faithers!

Can you imagine how much would have been left unsaid without the magic of modern technology? This story is truly inspiring. I work with a quadraplegic girl who has a board on her wheelchair to communicate as she can slightly move her right hand. When people take the time to get down on her level and talk to her, they are ALWAYS greeted with excitement and a beaming smile. I must read this book, to be sure.

No, I can't imagine if he didn't get a chance to get it out. That would have been unthinkable beyond belief.
To have so much to say but not be able to get it out?
Shoot, man, that is a really downer thought.
BTW, hey TT! I hope you are well, and your girls and husband, too.

Pepper, Thanks for the inspirational story. I miss not being part of book club (we moved). On a day where I was feeling low because of stuff at work - I read something like this and it puts things in perspective. Life is to short and precious to sweat the small nonsense of everyday life.
