Didn't want to hijack sss's thread...

Maybe this is a dumb question, but when posters meet is it ackward especially for the WS? Are there any group activities planned during these events? What's the basic itinerary?

I wouldn't think you'd know who anyone was unless you walked up to them and said "HI my screen name is..... what's yours?"

Some posters correspond via email away from MB so it could be discussed previously...meet me in the lobby at X, look for a tall redhead with the glasses...I dunno. LOL laugh

hi black raven-
i was on the weekend - we knew that we were coming as did two other couples who had posted on this forum that they were coming and introduced ourselves.
it was not awkward at all - but rather like meeting an old friend who you hadnt seen for awhile.

i cant say how it was for the WSs.... but my H seemed happy to talk to the other men, and they even exchanged e mails and phone numbers.

there are many 10 min breaks during the weekend- which dont really allow for much talking - as there are assignments sometimes to do and bathrooms to go to.

the only planned social time was lunch.

also - people met each other the first night we arrived and had time to talk. and after that night also. we left soon after the weekend was done on saturday night - but now i wish we had stayed longer to have more time to talk to the other couples.

if you are thinking of going - GO!!!!! it is sooooo worth it. i only wish we had gone sooner.

and i did e mail privately one couple so i knew their real names - and we were all given name tags.

even though i didnt have time to read the name tags, or have a physical description - i just "knew" it was that person. i cant explain how.

it was great!

Not sure H would be keen on a MB weekend. I know for sure he wouldn't want to be known as b_r's H. laugh
