Cinderella-
Thanks... it means a lot....
SB- Basically my mom is a HEAVY smoker. She has had a bad cough for a while now, and then she started wheezing, then she was up all night coughing... same thing that my grandma had, except she did NOT smoke. My mom finally went to the doctor, and they admitted her immediately.

She is on oxygen and undergoing tests. Her blood Oxygen level goes to 70 when she stands up... I am thinking emphysema but she is telling me that they told her no... all I know is they will not release her, so she is furious.

I am hoping she will be ok... waiting on more tests.... D*mn smoking!!!!

Yup, must be the same schedule smile. She's NMNK, right you are. Dunno about PTQ, I think we are both too happy with how things are to change them by tying the knot... I also realized that I am petrified of the thought of waking up one day and having someone I am married to tell me "I am not in love with you"... I can't see J do that, but I also couldn't see my ex do that, and she did, so what do I know...

Hey, folks, I need a bit of help. I hate to ask but there are cancer patients who need help. If you all could donate $5-10 (or even more) to help me raise about $400 more for Gilda's Club, I would really appreciate it - and so would people like Jack, David, Sandy, Pam, Rick, Mary Elizabeth, Lee, Dot, Ken, and many more.

...and forget that $3000 my profile says I want to raise....I messed up and didn't start my fundraising effectively so now I'll be joyous to raise $750!

Oh, I'm doing this half marathon with my daughter. Of all the people on the team, we are the only mother/daughter duo and she is the only high school student! WAY COOL to take on this kind of project, for 4 months, with your teenager!

I am looking forward to this long weekend.

Am going camping with friends. My little group has 3 tall and handsome albeit young men. My girlfriend and I will drive and the boys will do the cooking. We will sleep in the open and I shall bring a bed with me as I am too old to sleep on the rubbly ground. We plan to hike up to a 100 feet waterfall the next day.

I am trying to entice my online match connection to a snorkeling trip up north.

My weekend was a blast!
We had so much fun and the boys were perfect gentlemen. They are not the outdoors type, so they were really looking forward to camp. You gotta laugh at this: they all wore perfume when I picked them up in the morning.

Nevertheless, at camp, they set up the 42 feet fly sheet, fixed up the beds for my girlfriend and I, they bought food, made fire and cooked, we swam in the river, hiked 45 minutes up to the waterfalls the next day, played in the pool with rainbows, bathed in the river at campsite again, they dismantled camp, packed up, loaded the cars... the thing is, I didn't have to do much. This is so, so different from my usual older guy friends where the women do most of the work. I had a lot of fun and I want to go out with them again!

I recall the days when my x and I were in our twenties and he was a perfect gentlemen and he did a lot when we first started dating. Then we got married, and he became a slob and I did everything... lol. Sounds like one of those corny man-woman jokes.

Oh, I must tell you: we had torrential rain in the middle of the night and the fly-sheet was held up by three poles and a few rocks. I swear it could have collapsed any time! I opened my eyes I could see the sheet bulging like a pregnant woman's belly. The rain seeped onto the ground and the boys got wet because they were sleeping on ground sheets, but they were so happy they laughed. We had one visiting leech and it's the first sighting for one of them. We are talking about 24 and 26-year olds. What makes these delightful boys grumpy, slouchy married men later I'd like to know.

Cinderella, your link is probably to a site that changes its cartoon daily... don't know what you mean when you say it's true!

I do not blame the xwh for his affairs and abandoning our marriage. He fulfills 90% of the Cleckley Criteria

I forgive him for his insanity and I forgive myself for being gullible to his charms.

I just realized, sadly enough, that it is not true.....

It's a cartoon of a man who has arrived at the gates of Heaven. St. Peter looks at him and says, "Welcome aboard. You are now exempt from federal, state, and local taxes."

The sad part is that it isn't true....even if you die, your estate has to file and pay any taxes due until the estate is settled and closed.

One of my co-workers was shot during a robbery this morning.

The dirtbag took his wallet and just started shooting him in the back. He's in surgery and alive and that's all we know at the moment.

We've hear nothing except that he's got many shattered bones from bullet strikes in his limbs.

His ankle is completely destroyed.

BTW, I rescued a baby crow from the resident red tails.

Seems I am going to have a very special friend from the spirit world now.

My FB friends can go see him.

Sorry to threadjack but pariah yesterday I did not mean roflmao as in my comment was insincere. I meant it when I said no hard feelings...just when you responded I realized how silly it all was and cracked up laughing. I don't know why, maybe I just needed a good laugh. Anyway just wanted to say that since I couldn't yesterday cuz they locked the thread. So again..No hard feelings!

I don't have the time or energy to hold a grudge against invisible friends. My energies are now focused on raising this crow up.

It was suggested that I have antisocial problems, that's quite the opposite as I have many friends and I absolutely will dedicate myself in lovingly raising that crow up.

It saw it's family destroyed and even though I'm alien to it, I'm all it has now.

So yes, I have provided food to the raven when it cries out to God and wanders about for being hungry. (reference to Job:38)
