A little bit of everything, except gangsta rap. Don't like it...would rather lick my left rear tire than to listen to it!

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?

Not an iPod. On my cheappod, which I just bought today, there will be audiobooks... HNHN first, then FIL/SIL... they should be here any day now.

Not listening right now but if I was my favorites that I almost always play are

Screaming Headless Torsos
Paul Simon
Sam Cooke
Ozomatli Ozo!!! loves me some Ozo!
Broadway Shows...mostly Spring Awakening
Classical music...mostly what I am going to need to learn next season
Joni Mitchell
Dave Matthews Band
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
Elton John...the older stuff
My sons CDs
Only one audio book so far, I need to get more of those

There is much more but I have not used it in a while so that is just what I like the most and listen to the most.

Dave Matthews Band

HUGE.
FAT.
TRIGGER.

I mean BIG...I cannot listen to even 2 seconds of DMB now...I cannot turn it off fast enough and neither can FWH. Sometimes he gets to it before I do.

We have had to leave restaurants before when DMB was playing. The PTSD kicks in BIG TIME. And I used to think DMB was fine. Not anymore.

Oh I am so sorry for bringing up DMB! SO sorry. hug

I am grateful that GM's little skank was not "into" anything intellegent or musical. As a musician it would have killed me to have to lose that. It is bad enough that he used my rehearsal time for some of his trysts, kinda killed that joy but to hear something in a place where I was would just kill me.

So sorry, been triggering a lot myself this last few days and it is undeniably unpleasant. My psychiatrist who is watching my meds is medicating me for continued PTSD from my childhood and then from my brothers death and now this lovely situation. I certainly understand PTSD, no fun.

Find peace...think of....The Carpenters?

This is an awesome list, MF. I saw Live and Toad in concert 'back in the day' lol. They were wonderful.

On my non namebrand mp3 player I have (at the moment, it changes quite a bit):
System of a Down
Iron and Wine
REM
Adele
Amy Winehouse
Otep
Rob Pattinson
Bright Eyes
Cursive
Fleet Foxes
Venetian Snares
Chopin
Debussy
Nina Simone
Jeff Buckley
Les Miserables (London Version)
Tears for Fears
Flight of the Conchords

....these could change at any time. ;-)

1200 songs by various artists spanning the entire musical genre as well as about 50 audio files ranging from self help to religion. A few recordings of VOX from my family.....

If could post it all but the lsit would take up pages.

Only 7800 files to go to fill it laugh
