It's warm in upstate NY right now (first really warm day of this year).
My kids are outside playing with the hose. The windows are open. Breeze going through the house.
The sounds of kids playing outside has got to be one of the most heart warming things for a parent....
Ya'll got any others?

Yes, the bells chiming 5:00 p.m. in the Catholic Church across the street from where I work.

PM, I love the local church's bells (even though I'm not a religious person) and the music they play at 3pm and 7pm.
Another for me! THANKS for reminding me!

DD, this is a good thread. For me its the sound of my kid laughing. The kind of laugh where his face is scrunched with eyes squinted and cheeks high, mouth open wide. By the time he's done with one of those laughs we both have tears rolling, just for different reasons. A child's laughter is the best sound to me.

I second the sound of children laughing and playing. My 18-month-old is insanely cute when he is twiddling with some random object and babbling to himself.

The expression on my daughter's face when she didn't expect the present she got - priceless!

Music. Don't know where I would be without it.
The sound of a good hard rain on my roof.
My children when they laugh.
