I am new to Marriage Builders but I have been reading the post for a while.

Well we have been married for 9 years and been together for 11. We have two sons on 16 (step son for me) and one 7. I have always thought our relationship was great and the SF was good when we had it. We were at once a month for a while but I did not want to pressure my DW because she was in school and had a lot of stress. So once she got done school and started her new career she told me the problem. She says she loves me as a friend and not like a husband. That this feeling has been with her for two years or so and she just thought it was stress from school and since school is over she still has that feeling. I have asked her to go marriage counseling but she says it will not work because they can't make you change how you feel. She does say she loves me and loves the life we have together and says I am the best husband and father she knows. But I am at loss to what to do. I said we should go to MC and now she says she will go because she does not want to hear people say that she did not try to make it work. I say that is not good enough that she has to want to make it work and then she says she can’t change the way she feels. It just goes round and round. My question is should we go to MC? Can feelings change like she says they do? I just need some advice because I feel my life crashing in front of me and I can’t stop it. I love my dearly and want to be married to her for the rest of my life.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. No guarantee, but the only way I see it, is to separate. You are entitled to be loved. This ILYBINILWY is crap

This is a public forum and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I do feel an obligation to point out that ouch's advice is counter to MB principles.

read up on meeting her ENs. Fill out the questionnaires so you know how to meet them. "Speak her Love Language" and she should fall back in love with you. No LBs. Start with the book Fall in Love STay in Love or His Needs Her needs.
