Well the couple who wants our house has sold thiers so I say goodbye to the dream house. The next step is for my W to close on her house then she is going to file and move on with her new life. Almost 3.5 years of this is coming to an end and it is not the ending I was hoping and praying for.
Chris I was reading your thread and I am tired too. If so many people are leaving thier marriages I wonder if the statistics for thier success has improved.....
I said goodbye to my dream house on 9/30/99. I didn't look back. They say its bad luck. No good memories there. Just a lot of hard, hard physical work. It will hurt, but you will go on.

Hi Mike,
I am so sorry to hear about this. I know you are tired. You have tired so hard for so long. Don't sell yourself short on that.
We never know what tomorrow will bring, but I know that God holds my tomorrow. He will see me through.
I know this is very dissappointing. I don't have any wise or wonderful words for you, but I am thinking about you and wishing you peace and strength.
Keep searching for you. The answers will come.
Cheryl

Mike,
I had to give up my house too. I always had this little wooden painted thing, it says:
A house is made of brick and stone, but a home is made of love alone.
Somehow that helped me get through. My HOME is where my love is ... the brick and stone I left was just that. No more love there. You will find love again in your new home - love yourself, you deserve it.

Hi Mike -
I'm sorry that another loss has been heaped on your heart......
BIG HUGS!!!
I am also dreading that happening...not that this is a "dream" house!! Could have been - would have been, if H had stayed focused on "us" and "our dream"!!
It's not fixed up the way it should be but it is definitely "home".....
More mine than his.....that's so sad, but true.
I'm sorry Mike...your happiness will come along and when it does all this will be an unpleasant memory of long ago!! Thats what we have to look to for ourselves.
Prayers, Hugs and Strength,
Sheba
