I can't believe the threads are lost. This stinks.
Dr. Harley and I emailed this week and he told me he was going to read some of MrsOttert's thread before meeting us this weekend. Of course, he never got the chance because it's gone.
What happened? Can't some computer genius fix this? I feel like part of my heart and soul are lost, like part of my life disappeared.
For anyone so inclined, please pray for us this weekend. We are hanging on by the tiniest of threads. It's so far gone, I fear even this won't help. But I'm going anyway.

Oh, ottert. You are among those whom I've been thinking much about during this down time. You hadn't been posting as much since you had your thread locked, but with the MB weekend approaching, I've been hoping you two would get there and have some sort of breakthru(s). It can happen and I pray that it does.

otter, please don't let it get you down. You will be amazed at how quick Dr Harley catches on. Just go listen to some of his calls on the radio and you will not worry about this. I will say a prayer for you, friend.

I do not think that I have forgotten your threads.
I have read your update on her family situation. This is a problem in many marriages - keeping parents out of a marriage. One tip I heard was to move to a place that was just out a one day visit range with mom and pop. This usually at the beginning of the marriage.
Her parents need to be inspired by God. They can recall their position in Genesis. I personally would bother to engage them. Do not engage your wife at this stage, let MB do this for you. Hopefully someone else will inspire her (trust me, it never the spouse)
