Mel, thank you for your apology, but it is entirely unnecessary!

Just before this recent shut-down I was about to tell you that I seemed to have cured your short attention span. You were reading right to the end of my marathon posts! I've seen you tell people to keep posts to 3 paragraphs if they wanted you to read them, but you were doing me the honour of reading mine. Thank you.

I need to shut my big mouth, ya know? crazy

I usually don't read anything longer than 3 paragraphs, but I devour every one of your posts - to the end. I feel honored to be treated to such wisdom and insight. Usually when a post is real long, it is 5% meat and 95% meaningless chatter. Your average Texan could say in 3 sentences what takes most folks 100 sentences.

But I have found yours to be 100% MEAT. All the way to the end. There is a KEEN intelligence, substance and insight along with a precision of word and thought. You don't waste ANY words; there is meaning and thought in every word.

It has grieved me for some time that I said that to you, and I appreciate your graciousness. laugh

I don't know whether to burst into tears or say "for goodness sake, you two, get a room!"

How was your 2 weeks off? DH and I watched movies together. It was great fun!

We painted a bedroom, ready for visitors. H's sisters are coming to look after our son in the school half-term this coming week and now they have somewhere nice to sleep.

I repainted the streakily-painted bathroom.

I washed down the paint work and cleared out the clutter in the dining room.

We snuggled on the sofa and watched some Hitchcock films that we've had on DVD for ages: The Lady Vanishes, I confess and Stage Fright.

I visited other infidelity sites and did not find one that is a patch on this one!
