I'm so...not a baker. : : I just made some gingerbread. But when I went to pour it into the pan, I realized I loaned out my 9x9 sq pan to a neighbor who is not home right now. All I have are some loaf pans or those really large casserole dishes. Can I bake this thing in a loaf pan?

OH, there's a cooking thread underway in Recovery. You will probably get a lot of help over there.
I don't know anything about gingerbread. I don't like it, so have never cooked it. Now, if you ask me about a good old English bread and butter pudding...

Ok, thanks. I made it in the loaf pan, cooked it about 10 min longer and it was fine.
A cooking thread in Recovery? I would have never found it there!

I think a loaf pan will cook it just fine. Just check that the inside is done by using a straw or a skewer. When it comes out without goop, it's done.
I bake corn bread in casserole dishes, or in pie tins, whatever is handy. Some things aren't that difficult.
A souffle, however, is a whole nuther story......
