I keep feeling like I am in "The Big Lebowski". How many times did John Goodman tell Steve Buscemi "Shut the F up, Donny" ?

Not agreeing with Dude = slanted. LMAO. Have fun...going to pick up my slanted by proxy children. Please know you all are so biased against adultery. I mean, yes, its wrong, but I think some on here equate it to murder(OR WORSE!). Yes, its a sin. Yes it hurts, but don't let it scar you for life. If you are triggering all the time w/ celebrities and TV shows, you know you are still hyper sensitive. DUDE

Just for the record, I am a BIBLE believing christian.
Moses: murderer Isaac: (I think it was Isaac) cheat and swindler Jacob: 2 wives David: adulterer, murderer Solomon: 1000+ wives or concubines (whatever!) Saul: murderer of christians Peter: denied Christ
I'm sure someone can add to this list, but my point is that they all sinned, and yet I'm sure we can agree they went to Heaven. What about Judas? He betrayed Jesus in for 30 shekels, and I'm betting we can all agree he went where?
If someone can help me figure this out, I really would appreciate it. Is it that they repented and Judas did not? Is not sin a sin? Who gets to throw the first stone?

I think it is because they repented...none of us are without sin...and adultery is one the the 10 commandments, so it seems to me some sin is worse then others, IDK...I am not up to date on my Bible stuff...
and I do beleive there is a difference if you repent....Just like if the Wayward goes back to his/her family and works on his marriage, I beleive that is different than a wayward that leaves his family and never comes back...

And to me Adultery is almost as bad as a murder...I feel my WH did everything to me short of murder....and Adultery is right up there with murder as one of the ten commandments....But even murder can be forgiven in Gods eyes, but I beleive it is only if you repent.
And the sin of Adultery is committed against the spouse, the children, the rest of the family, another family and God, to me that is pretty bad...and to me that it is why it is one of the ten commandments...It is considered in the Bible a greater sin then, having sex before you are married.

No sense beating yourself up for having a normal reaction. Too many folks think they should be like Ghandi, immediately.

I doubt it, but thanks Dude...sometimes I really wish I could have your attitude about things, ya know? I will say, out of all the people I know, I probably am the most "geered" to handle betrayal. I love my betrayed peeps. I just think so many are in such a deep, betrayed rut they can't see passed it. DUDE

I doubt it, but thanks Dude...sometimes I really wish I could have your attitude about things, ya know? Well, its kinda funny too..I mean, I really do laugh here and there at my fwxw OM. How the waywards run around sneaking about, when I ASKED MY WW IF I COULD LEAVE DURING HER A?? I'm begging to leave and separate til we find out whats going on.(I never thought an A) Meanwhile, OM is asking her when is she gonna leave me, yet I'm trying to leave myself??! I mean, thats not just cruel, its just stupid. But it wasnt about him, it was about her low self-esteem and how talking to him alleviated that temporarily. DUDE

My son told me last night I was such a forgiving person.(for getting back w/ fwxw) I thought about it. I have never been forgiving, so what did I receive in return. ADMIRATION, my wife back? all my assets in my name only? Her family adores me. I'm the big hero, even w/ the RA??! The guy pulling his family back together. What a stand up guy. Her family calls me more than they call her. IDK Its crazy how it all turned out. Totally opposite of what you would expect. I was a BS who had SERIOUS wayward tendencies who was bailed out because she went first. Its hard to get overly pissed about that. She probably saved my life by having her A. I'm actually THANKFUL it happened. DUDE

I'm thankful too, Dude. My XWW's affair actually got me off my [censored] and out of an awful relationship. I need to remember that. The Lord works inmysterious ways. MY in-laws and kids love me and I came out smelling like a rose. If I'd merely divorced her because of her abuse, I don't think folks would be as sympathetic, as most of it went on behind closed doors9although her dad and mom have told me could see how badly she was treating us). Infidelity is a nice, concrete , tangible deal that almost everyone acccepts as justification for getting out. I kept advocating she get help/therapy and she would just deride the idea(and me).
