MY D19 is madly in love with that wolf guy. She went to the midnight show, up at university. And she told me that when I go up there next week I have to go see it with her.

Cat, DD13 and I have read all the books, and her friend's mother took them Thursday night (yesterday morning) at midnight, and then we went the four of us with her friend again last night. We don't usually catch movies opening weekend, and that part was fun, too, seeing folks we knew and talking with the other folks sitting by us. DD13 is a huge fan of Taylor Lautner, who plays the wolf guy, too.
You know what was funny? Growing up in the south, usually guys and boys went shirtless most of the summer, playing football and doing yardwork, and no one thought anything about it. But nowadays with A/C, guys don't do that, and DD8 never sees a shirtless guy. When Jacob took his shirt off to bandage up Bella's head wound when she fell off her motorcycle, DD8 actually hid her face. How times change!

Cat, you sound like a quick reader, I bet you could have the first two books read by next week. I enjoyed this movie so much more than when I caught the first one on dvd before I'd read the book.

I thought that the New Moon movie was much better than the Twilight movie. I have to admit, I laughed and I cried. Of course, I bawled when I read New Moon. I was still pretty tender and if you've read it, you know why. ;-) I can't wait to see Eclipse since it's suppose to have more action in it.
We've got a couple vamp lovers here at the house. The oldest girls think that the perfect man would be a combination of Edward and Jacob. They can't make up their minds.
