It has been almost 15 months since D-Day for me (I am FWW) and I have just finished reading SAA. I do not know why it took me so long. But, I have asked BH to also read it--he says that he will.

I am optimistic.

My question is this: I never sent OM a NC letter as suggested in the book and this forum. Is it better to leave things as they are or should I send a NC letter still after all this time? Would it be considered contact if I should do NC letter and wouldn't it just reopen an old can of worms?

I was just wondering about opinions since I expect my BH will ask me to do this after he reads SAA.

The purpose of the no contact letter is to a) end contact and b) a good will gesture to the BS. Since so much time has passed and there has been no contact, my opinion would be to NOT do it for the reasons you gave.

Thank you Mel. That is what I thought but I just needed reassurance in case BH asked me to do this after reading...

D Day is 15 months.

How long has been NC?

If NC has been for a long time then don't break NC.
