The other thread was locked, so here is my apology to those who asked for it.

Mr. W (and Mrs. W): I apologize for the offending comment I made about Mrs. W's affair. My thought was not completely expressed, as I was writing it just before leaving for work that morning. I was more blunt and callous than I intended. Regardless, I apologize for hurting you and anyone else.
