She who lies down with dogs, gets up with fleas, they do say...

(And yes...I'm aware it's off-topic. It's my bad luck for everything I say to be either off-topic or not well-received no matter how good my intenion)

One year becomes two, two years becomes five, five becomes ten and before you know it, you've wasted your whole life on a problem you can't solve. That's one way to spend your life. -rwinger

Yes, you're right. That particular aphorism IS off-topic. That's why I had to adapt it to fit the little nincompoop--I mean, my darling youngest grandson blush--and his current circumstances. It's very ironic, given his tendency to hassle the cat, that he got nailed while he was fast asleep just because the cat got scared by the dog and used the Dervish for a springboard to freedom.rotflmao

You think I should be more sympathetic? Sorry, you must be thinking of some other Grandma...MrRollieEyes

Now I'm CERTAIN you're MY mom's twin.

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?

My calendar says that it's the middle of December. Wasn't it September just yesterday? What's going on? Where did all the time go?

I think when I was in first grade, from December 1st to the 24th was about 13 years. Now it's about 10 minutes.

I'd best say Merry Christmas now. It will be New Year's Day in a few minutes.

It's nice to see your comments. I know I don't come around here much these days, but it makes me feel good to know you are all still OK.

Prayers for all.
And........
Extra prayers for your Father FF.

We have a new granddaughter. Born last Wed Night To my Son and DIL who live in Phoenix AZ.
8 lbs 4 oz.

Life goes on. In all it's glory, with all it's trials and tests.
Isn't it wonderful.

Try having your birthday in December. Then the years pass with lightspeed.

>Isn't it wonderful.

Well, it sure as heck beats the tar out of the alternative.

Our oldest son was born on Dec 29th. It has been interesting.
Probably even more so when it's YOU, and not just a close relative.

Kimmy, I hope this is the best Christmas ever for you guys. You sound happy lately.

I'm content AND happy. 'Tis a heady combination.

Mom and Dad are on the way as I type this. This is the first time my dad will walk into our house since...well, since a long time ago. Am BERRY EXCITED...and the kids are too. They couldn't hop out of bed fast enough this morning.

That is a cute website! I just bookmarked it.

Here's a little chuckle - photo I took last night at Wal Mart.

My mom and dad brought me the Pioneer Woman Cooks and a set of Wolfgang Puck knives for my birthday. I'm so happy I could just....um....COOK!

I think you need to submit it to the People of Walmart website.

We've recently discovered peopleofwalmart.com. Our eyes may never be the same again. Maybe I will submit it - thanks!

It's going to be a FULL Christmas at our house. I'm so PSYCHED!

I know it's bad for me to be happy about this, but my SIL's well collapsed and they are all coming to Christmas Eve to spend Christmas with us (she ALWAYS hosts Christmas). They dropped off the first load of gifts at our house this weekend and showered and cleaned up and will be dropping more this week. It already looks like Santa's workshop threw up in my front room...

I

Love

It!

It's messy and colorful and wonderful and cool and I love it.

I can't wait for Christmas Eve!

Can't WAIT!

rotflmao You are so naughty, birthday girl!!! And Santa is just as naughty for giving you that wish.

You'd better hope they didn't fingerprint the well casing.
