I just need some help. I am not sure what to do, and hope there are people here you could give me some advice and support.

I have been married 6 years. I have a 5 year old and a 3 month old. My husband and I separated for 18 months when my son was 2, and then we got back together and had another baby.

It is a long story that involves anger, cheating, horrible words and names, and too much conflict to even write. Now that we have two kids, though, I feel like we should at least give this marriage an intentional shot.

My husband currently is renting an apartment for a month and we are in counseling, but can only get in every few weeks, which is not working for me. I want to do more.

What resources would you recommend? The internet is filled with things you have to pay for, and they all seem cheesy. I would love to do a worksheet that asks us about what we want from life, from our marriage, for our future. Do you know of anything like that?

Also, does anyone have any resources that might talk about how marriages fair when dealing with a new baby and stress? I feel like he is out of his mind since he can not see how much is being brought on by the stress of a baby (and she was colikey in the beginning).

Any helps, links, advice, support, is so much appreciated! Thanks!

I see that this is your first post so I will point you to Dr.Harleys links just to the right of this forum main page.

I found this place searching for answers also. His success with marriages has sound reason behind it so I read here and see so many awesome people helping each other through his teaching.

I am sorry you have to be here because of problems but you are in the right place. Your concern that you want more counseling time is healthy in my opinion.

Hang in there and the vets will be along to help you. untill then read up on Dr. Harley

God bless
