I have the opportunity to plan a special celebration for my son who has earned the Eagle Scout recognition.

Those who have either received this recognition or who have sons who have earned it, I need some ideas on how to make this night special for him.

Ideas please!

Kayla, I don't have any ideas, but as a RECRUITER, please tell him to be sure and put that on his resume when he grows up. We always like Eagle Scouts.

Congratulations to your son! smile

Kayla-

That's quite an accomplishment-Eagle Scout! When my nephew got his, he asked my FXH to come to his ceremony and give a bible verse and prayer. It was a great honor for my DH. Is there anyone in your DS's life who has been a major influence who could be part of the ceremony is some way?

Congratulations to your son!

I keep seeing these digital frames where you can record messages with photos. Maybe you can gather up photos and have different people add special messages. It becomes a keepsake.

gg's mention of the digital frames made me think of the 'books', just like a hardcover storybook, that you can have made, and do it all on line if you are so inclined.
I believe it is through Hallmark, prolly on their website.
It takes time for delivery though, not sure what your time frame is.

A GF of mine had one made for each of her siblings after their Mother passed.
It was full of family, wedding and personal photos, and you can add whatever writings you want.

It was very cool, and a good keepsake also I thought.

Not sure if that's what's you are looking for or not???

There are lots of Eagle Court ideas on the web. Some of them are very detailed.

It's fun to have a table with mementos of his scouting trips over the years. Photos, backpack, other awards.

People can look while waiting to begin, and afterwards too.

I am glad he was willing to do the work, and that both of you were willing to help and support him. IT's a good thing.
