Did I miss this? llama, did he say "I love you but am not in love with you?"

Melody - not to my knowledge. KaylaAndy used that acronym and I wasn't sure what it stood for.

I have been thinking that he has sounded very wayward (as the previous two posters have mentioned), however, since mid-December.

That's the problem... you don't know what has really been going on in that marriage. He could be into drugs, OW's, gambling, who knows.

He does sound creepy.
Moving out already? Yep, he's got something going on.

You tried, I'd leave them to themselves. They've got two counselors going, they obviously know there's help if they need it.

You could not pay me to be more involved with their marriage.

You cannot help them. I'm sorry.

Drucilla -

Thanks for your comment. We live 8 hours from one another. She only has one friend (pastor's wife, which is a good one to have I think!) in her city. So, for right now I'm one of the rocks she has in her life. The other big rock is her Dad and I'm hoping she talked to him this morning.

She's making arrangements for kids to see a counselor and told school counselors what is going on, etc. He, in the meantime, is supposedly moving out today. We haven't talked at length today so I have no idea if he took off work or not. A furnished apartment on a month-to-month lease is not cheap.

I'm the friend she calls to vent, for support, etc.

A few things I'm personally worried about for her is money - he's the main earner in the marriage and takes care of paying bills, etc. We had talked about this once - that she should be aware of all their accounts, how much is in them, where the money is going, etc.

Also, he realizes fully that a divorce means she AND the children will eventually move back to her hometown which is 8 hours away. He's okay with this?
