I'm in the camp of people who aren't buying this. Sorry, but if you caused enough physical damage to another person to put them in the hospital until March, you would be in jail. Also, a "minor crack in the head" wouldn't keep a baby in the hospital for a month. This supposedly happened just a few days after Christmas, right? Something "minor" required surgery and kept the baby in the hospital for an entire month? This story just doesn't pan out on so many levels.
I don't want to offend you, but you just don't sound like a doctor. I imagine you would be distraught, but the posts seem fairly illiterate and ungrammatical. Even at my most distraught, I still remember how to speak/write in English.
So, why all the inconsistencies? i just said i was in jail,but i got out.i do have a court hearing.and how would you know how long a baby is supposed to be in a hospital?there are many people on this website that do not type perfectly and plus its just a computer.im not writing an essay for my former 10th grade english teacher.but if you dont believe me it doesnt matter.people who have problems are bound to judge others.

I've worked in the medical field. And I posted before I saw the part about you being in jail. I still maintain that a "minor" injury would not keep a baby in the hospital for a month. A one month hospital stay is not "minor."

I don't think it is anyone's intention to judge unfairly. It's just, once you've been around for awhile, there are some stories that present with inconsistencies that send up red flags. If I'm wrong in your case, then I'm sorry. I've just learned to be cautious when a new poster's story doesn't seem to add up.

A one month hospital stay is not "minor." i work in the medical field also,yet he is coming home next week.if you really wanna get critical,it depends on the type of injury.and it depends on how you use the word minor.when i say minor i mean a few weeks to a month,but if its a couple then i would say its major.plus you're not in my position.you dont know what i have to deal with.so what if i used the word minor in irregular form?i shouldnt have to explain every single detail.im tired of trying to explain.

There have been a number of trolls on this site. Your defensiveness and anger just cause more I am not ganging up on you. I just want to make sure that you are being straight-forward and honest with everyone. People here can help you. They have a lot of experience. But, when a story doesn't add up, I don't see anything wrong with asking for clarification or questioning some of the statements being made.

I am working on my second college degree but sometimes I don't use uppercase when I am in a hurry.
I think this poster is pretty freaked out.
If I am wrong, so be it. If he is real, I hope he gets some help from this site, and some support.

I suggest you call and get an appointment with counseling from the Harleys, sounds like you can afford it, and it might help you to step back and stop reacting to a horrible situation.

A surgeon would know how to type a little better. I'm 20 and don't have any degrees--and I know how to type with proper grammar and spelling.
"Just a computer?" Yes, it's just a computer but the way you type gives people a view into your habits. If you type sloppily they're not going to think much of you.
Surgeons would not be *anywhere* near work if they'd just gotten out of jail. At best they'd be on some sort of unpaid leave.
One year becomes two, two years becomes five, five becomes ten and before you know it, you've wasted your whole life on a problem you can't solve. That's one way to spend your life. -rwinger

I don't buy this. Sorry but I really don't. Too many things just don't add up, and this made my skin crawl.. i wont even call it my son anymore until i find the truth I've never heard a medical professional call a person "it" let alone a child that he has bonded with and attached to.

Perhaps the adultery and the pain are real but the poster took advantage of the anonymity of the forum to embellish his story in an attempt to increase credibility. If so, I pray for his situation and hope he will start over and trust us enough to come back for help.

I do hope that the child hasn't suffered permanent brain damage as a result of his accident! That would change this into a far worse tragedy than it is now.
