My advice for this poster is to do his best at answering our questions and dont' get baited into a fight with those that do not want to believe him.

For an incident to happen to a 3 month old, any incident (including an arrest/assult)- would not protective services be ALL over this case? I doubt he would even be able to visit this child, but maybe things are different there.

There is no way a 3 month old (with a head injury) who has been in a hospital for over 3 weeks, is NOT going to have P.S. investigate. fishy...fishy

This is much more than punctuation, grammer, spelling and sentence structure.

FACT: MOTY registered on this site January 20. Made one comment having nothing to do with his situation. In fact, it was completely out of context to the thread.

FACT: MOTY did not post again until January 26. Then, he began to offer advice as if he were a veteran here.

FACT: MOTY posted eight times on January 26. Not once did he say anything about his own story, but continued to "offer advice" and toss about MB abbreviations like a veteran.

FACT: MOTY made two posts on January 27 to another thread before posting his "story" at 6:36pm EST. Those two posts were edited by the moderator with instructions to contact mods before posting again.

FACT: MOTY made 31 follow-up posts to his story on January 27 in a span of approximately five hours.

FACT: MOTY stated in his "story" post, 'For the last few weeks i've been trying to read every story on this website that focuses specifically on affairs and recovery.' In other words, the pivotal event occurred 'last month on my birthday, which is two days after Christmas' but he waited a full month before posting his story, yet he found no problem with advising others. He also claims, 'i am a very wealthy person, and i believe this caused her to have sex with my cousin, because i was so busy (i am a surgeon.but since i told my boss,he suspended me with pay until i modify my personal problems.)'

OPINION: The schooling required to become a cardiothoracic surgeon (heart and lung, for those interested) includes college (four years), medical school (four years) a residency (six to nine years). According to Wikipedia:
Cardiac surgery training in the United States is combined with thoracic surgery and called cardiothoracic surgery. Cardiothoracic surgeons in the U.S. first complete a general surgery residency (typically five to seven years), followed by a cardiothoracic surgery residency. The Cardiothoracic surgery residency typically spans two or three years, but certification is based on the number of surgeries performed as the operating surgeon, not the time spent in the program, in addition to passing rigorous board certification tests.
Now I can testify as to the emotional trauma incurred as the result of discovering one's spouse's infidelity, and coupled with an injury to one's own three month-old son, can believe this to be nearly enough to send one over the edge.

But I cannot believe that the training and discipline required to achieve the status of cardiothoracic surgeon would reduce one to writing in the manner and style of a fifth grader with ADHD.

I can only conclude that if I were in need of heart or lung surgery in the midwest, I would have to weigh my options very carefully based on what I have read from MOTY.

And it could all be just that MOTY is under incredible stress and barely able to hang on.

Can you imagine walking in on your spouse and a relative that you loved as a brother and catching them going at it? And having your infant child in the hospital due to neglect? I don't know that I'd be ready to hop into a forum and talk about it immediately either. I'd be struggling to speak a complete sentence coherently, let alone form decent written sentences and a logical flow in my written communications.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, MOTY: Do you want to recover your M? Does this decision pretty much hinge on the paternity results? Just trying to figure out where you are and what we can do to help you achieve those goals.

MOTY - understand, if your story is for real, we've been duped before.

Since you were bumping threads that were many years old, perhaps you read one or two by this guy??? coach3530 - so you might understand why people are reacting to some of your vague answers and dramatic situation.

IDK, there are some pretty incredulous stories here....I say innocent until proven guilty...I couldnt even form a sentence for the first 3 or 4 months....I ended up in the phsychiatric ward....

MOTY, if you really need help, then I will help as best as I can...If you are screwin' with us, please dont....My heart goes out to you and if its not true it is just a waste of my time and heart that could be used to help other in need...

You know, there are a lot of good hearts here. And the last thing I'm sure anyone wants to do is pile on a truly BS.

But listen, MOTY, we're also battle-scarred survivors and we're fine-tuned to look for bull[censored]. And we don't take well to people who screw around with us. If this is the case with you, stop NOW.

Just the fact that you lurked, then posted advice, then looked for advice sends up a redflag

Excellent analysis of MOTY's postings, Fred.
