Hmmmm. I'm a bit new here too. But, I read the posts you are speaking of and I think that what these people were attempting to get across; although to no avail, was that if a person who has cheated hopes to restore thier marriage, they must be honest.
An affair is a large enough wound, but the lying about it; especially to all the people they supposedly care for most, is like twisting the knife. JMHO
