I would like to ask for prayers for my wife and I as we go through this hard time. She is so lost and I believe that Satan has a firm grip on her now. Please pray for her. As for myself, I am just hanging on to hope by a thread. I am in almost unbearable pain and lost in confusion. Please pray for me as well. Thank you so much. God bless. pray

Psalm 102:1 - 12 (NIV)
Quote
1 Hear my prayer, O LORD;
let my cry for help come to you.

2 Do not hide your face from me
when I am in distress.
Turn your ear to me;
when I call, answer me quickly.

3 For my days vanish like smoke;
my bones burn like glowing embers.

4 My heart is blighted and withered like grass;
I forget to eat my food.

5 Because of my loud groaning
I am reduced to skin and bones.

6 I am like a desert owl,
like an owl among the ruins.

7 I lie awake; I have become
like a bird alone on a roof.

8 All day long my enemies taunt me;
those who rail against me use my name as a curse.

9 For I eat ashes as my food
and mingle my drink with tears

10 because of your great wrath,
for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.

11 My days are like the evening shadow;
I wither away like grass.

12 But you, O LORD, sit enthroned forever;
your renown endures through all generations.

Isaiah 49:14 - 16 (NIV)
Quote
"The LORD has forsaken me,
the Lord has forgotten me."

"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Quote
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Colossians 1:16 & 17 (Contemporary English Version)
Quote
Everything was created by him,

everything in heaven

and on earth,

everything seen and unseen,

including all forces

and powers,

and all rulers

and authorities.

All things were created

by God's Son,

and everything was made

for him.

God's Son was before all else,

and by him everything

is held together.

He's in charge.

He's in control.

He has a plan.

You are not alone.

Joshua 1:5 (New Living Translation)
Quote
No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.

It's been over 6 months since my WW and I separated and I am still in so much pain. I am lost and confused. I still have a lot of trouble sleeping and sometimes eating as well. I am usually overwhelmed by grief, anxiety, and depression. Please keep me in your prayers. That one day I might have a better life and be happy again. Thank you so much.

There is nothing wrong with seeking medical help to deal with the stress of separation. In fact feeling well physically will often help you to think more clearly and deal with life logically. Make sure you don't let these feelings overwhelm you. smile
