Impressions:

I was on here for several years then left. Now I am back simply because I want to help others, if I can.

I have some impressions.

Posting traffic is down from a couple of years ago, so it seems. Maybe it is the economy or some other reason. The level of help is higher but not as many people helping.

Maybe there are so many posts of a high quality that people don't have to ask questions; the answers are right in front of them.

I used to be able to go to page two for active threads. Now it is just page one and often not all of page one.

There is a higher quantity of issues with wayward wives. Or is this my imagination? Wayward wife deals seem to generate the highest level of drama and complexity, or again, is that my imagination?

Whatever happened to Ark's (or someone) Just Found Out Forum's greeting and admonition for new people? That was a really first class piece of work and I miss it. Or is my memory faulty and I remember something that wasn't really there?

There are a few more people from countries other than Australia and the US. For me, this is good because I like dealing with different cultures.

Other than that, it is the same ol same ol. People are hurting either as a wayward or betrayed. People looking for someone to help, and lots and lots of high quality help.

I hope the Harleys are getting their moneys worth out of this forum. I have read a more than one marriage book and without question, HNHN is head and shoulders above the rest. A copy of that book needs to be issued with every marriage license.

And a test given which someone must pass before being allowed to have kids. Yea, I know, that isn't going to happen.

Anyway, I really appreciate those who have been here a while taking the time to say a word or two to me. I dunno if you realize how much it meant to me so I will tell you: It meant a lot.

Larry

I don't think it's your imagination HOWEVER, being that all affairs are drama filled I think what you are noticing is the difference in HOW the BW vs. the BH handles the drama.

When the BS first gets here we tell them about Plan A and Plan B. We tell them how to follow Plan A, what they need to do and help them when they get off track. Most all BS's seem to do this well whether they be man or woman.

Where the trip up seems to be is in executing Plan B. It seems to me anyway, that the women seem to transition into Plan B and STAY in Plan B better than the men. The men seem to be full of excuses as to why they can't go into Plan B, as if the BW couldn't use the same ones. They FAIL to do the very PLANS Dr. H outlines on here and in SAA. Which I find odd considering the success they had in Plan A. Do they not think that same success won't transfer in Plan B??... crazy

So in my observation, it's NOT that the WW's instigate more drama, it's that the BH's won't do what is NECESSARY to REMOVE themselves from the drama.....aka, Plan B.

I know Mortarman was a EXCELLENT example fir the BHs around here on what happens when one follows the PLANS......

I also know it's frusterating to those of helping when the plans aren't being followed.......

All I know is when the BHs continue to do the same thing and aren't getting different results that is what we call insanity......
