Did anyone catch this on 20/20 last night? Jail for dad? In the interview last night, the mom was VERY foggy - turns out she had an affair which she denied but steamy emails were presented. In fact, she reminded me a lot of my ex. Anyways, it's a decent example of parents behaving badly. Dad for being a feminine hygene product for inviting the news to church and mom for being an over controlling nutjob. My view is mom has no right to dictate what dad does with the kids on his time. While dad converted to Judaisim while maried, they are divorced and he can do whatever he wants.

I don't know how I feel about jailing him, but I do think that he should follow the agreement about children that was made when they got married. He converted, I'm assuming that means that he also made a covenant (or whatever it is in Jewish faith--I was raised Catholic) to raise any children of the marriage in the Jewish faith.
Yes, Mom broke her vow, but that doesn't give him the right to break his vow to his children and his (converted to) church.
I think it's a vindictive move on his part, he did it to get her (negative) attention, and he got it!
I did not watch the show. I heard that was coming, but the be-heading of children in Africa got me to change the channel.

I agree both parents are nut jobs - but on the other hand - why is the government or the court system getting involved in the area of faith? Getting into dangerous territory I would say.
