Is it coincidence, or does it always take "two years" to get those betrayed among us to react to a spouse's affair?
Things came to a head with my own W 2 YEARS after first suspecting an affair. It seems most of the betrayed on these threads had that same two year lag. Everybody mentions "two years". Why? Is there something magical about that two year time lapse that makes reality dawn on us?
Coincidence or simple irony?
I'm outta here for weekend. Looking forward to some insight from a great bunch of people that are helping me through a real rough time.
Thanks, and good luck to all...

Hi Keystone,
I certainly hope it's not a standard two year thing or I'm going to have to kill someone [OM and possibly W] seeing as though I have another 17 months to go. Then I'll have to bring them back to life just to kill them again for the fun of it.
Just kidding, I wouldn't bring them back.
Seriously, We have made some improvements over the last 7 months. I don't believe we are closer to reconsiliation as of yet, but, closer than we were last year.
God only knows what's up for tomorrow and he's now telling me.
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic, yeah I'm still here.

KS,
Ya, that IS interesting!! My W denied her "friendship" with OM was and affair for 2 years!! Even though he was beeping her he loved her 143 1=I 4=love 3=you remember that from when we were kids? I used to beep her that (and her me) when we were working to let EO know we were thinking of each other.
Anyway, ya I wonder if we are ALL that dense (or maybe TRUSTING??) for two years. Maybe THAT's how long it takes to deposit enough in the "Love bank" to get up the nerve to tell us (or get caught on purpose)?
LET REALITY BEGAIN!!! THE BUBBLES WILL BURST FASTER!!!
------------------
desperate
