MF:

You have been in this ride as long as we have. And a similar one at that.

I agree with this:

Thank you everyone!

Someday I will sit down and post our whole journey...because I hope that it will give others hope that even after the devastation of an affair, you really can have a marriage better than ever.

We are not done healing...and certainly not done learning. But we can now see the end of the tunnel and it's exciting!

Oh, I've read them, lg, and I feel empathy with Married because of our false recoveries.

I have the feeling that there is a gap in the story. It is pretty detailed up until the point where they went to the MB weekend, but as things have improved, I think the storytelling tailed off.

I want MarriedForever to bring us right up to date!

I will do this as soon as I can, guys...right now DH and I are putting a lot of energy into helping some good friends of ours who are in the very early stages of recovery and that's where our focus is right now.

DH is being AMAZING in his help and for that I am so very thankful...

When you write something like this, I can truthfully say ... you have entered into the most wonderful phase of recovery.
Admiration for his efforts will lead to nothing but happiness.

Many couples in recovery never reach this point.
With many couples, they will compliment their spouse's efforts, then, it is usually followed by a "but" ....

YOU did NOT do that.
You have gone to the next level.
Praise God!

Many a good man has failed because he had a wishbone where his backbone should have been.

We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot.
