Pep, you are gonna love this....the woman who belongs to that set of amazing pipes is 54 years old.

The Dap-Kings did the back up on about 1/2 of Amy Winehouse's first CD.

I found that on NPR where you can find INCREDIBLY DIVERSE music.

This may (or may not) be her/their homepage or the home page for their latest CD "I Learned the Hard Way" which was released 4/6/10 (The title track is about discovery!)

BTW, if you don't know Lucinda Williams, you should discover her, too. 56 year old white woman w/ her gritty rocking country. Here is "Righteously" Who says 56 year old women can't sing a sexy song?
