I have family time, date nights, vacations, everydays.
She had quick phone calls, text messages, and emails.
I have the person, the body, the mind, the presence.
She had the lustful, rapid, f'ing.
I have the fun loving-making, the passionate loving-making, the baby making loving-making.
She had the secret conversations about a relationship that wasn't real.
I have a lifetime commitment, a partner, a man who chose me - twice.
She had hopes, dreams, and plans.
I have the man she was hoping, dreaming, and planning about.
My husband lost his way and so did I, but we found our path and we are heading home.

Wow, so very well written and...powerful. My husband lost his way and so did I, but we found our path and we are heading home. Glad to hear it; home is where the heart is and it's definitely the best place to be. I applaud you. :-)

Me,BW - 42; FWH-46 4 kids D-Day #s1 and 2~May 2006 D-Day #3~Feb.27, 2007 (we'd been in a FR) Plan B~ March 3 ~ April 6, 2007 In Recovery and things are improving every day. MB rocks.
