The author of this book is obviously mentally ill and profoundly wayward: Cheat 2 Save your Marriage This was written by a cheater who has no empathy for his victims and is looking for justification for his crimes. It is like the bank robber who rationalizes robbing banks. Women suffer nervous breakdowns and years of post traumatic stress disorder from being victims of adultery. Men hang themselves. Families are destroyed. Children are screwed up with moral confusion and taught to be dishonest. Anyone who would call that destruction a virture is clearly mentally ill. Adultery is as traumatic as rape or physical assault according to leading psychologist, Dr Bill Harley, founder of Marriage Builders. http://www.marriagebuilders.com/graphic/mbi5525_qa.htmlThis author is doing little more than glamorizing rape, rape of a marriage, rape of innocent children............. This is selfishness and cruelty on a pathological level.

How Sad.
I think this is just a reflection of the "progressive", humanistic attitude that is enveloping our nation and way of life.
I can remember a time when such drivel wouldn't even be considered for publication...

The solution to a bad marriage is to work to turn it around and make it a happy place. Not to commit adultery. Adultery does not make people happy. If he gave his wife the same attention he gives to his skanky adultery partners, he would have a great marriage.
Adutlerers, as a rule, are very depressed unhappy people because they have to constantly rationalize their wrongdoing and hide out like a cockroach. They live a life of supressing their conscience and lying to themselves. A life of guilt and shame. What a horrible way to live, to kill your soul in pursuit of a fleeting thrill that could have been had in abundance with a little work in their marriage.

Wow, that clip I read (Cheat 2 Save Your Marriage) has me almost dumbfounded. Does the author seriously think that cheating can save a marriage??? What a bonehead! Just another cheater coming up with any excuse he can to justify his misdeed(s). How truly sickening. Hmmmph, why not try repairing a marriage (that needs work) through appropriate means? Cheating, hah, that's as far from appropriate as appropiate can get. This author needs to give his head a shake (and I mean the head that's sits atop his shoulders, not the other one that's obviously had more than it's fair share of "shaking" already). Grrr, this guy is CLUELESS about what marriage is really even all about. And here he is handing out ADVICE??? This author is doing little more than glamorizing rape, rape of a marriage, rape of innocent children............. This is selfishness and cruelty on a pathological level. You couldn't be more right, there is something VERY WRONG with this guy.

Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.

Anyone who wants to live like they're single has just one option: STAY SINGLE AND STOP WRECKING MARRIAGES, WHETHER YOUR OWN OR SOMEONE ELSE'S.
No one is entitled to be both married AND single. No one is entitled to torment a spouse and children with a cheater's lies, neglect, disease and disrespect.
Having a marriage and family is not a right. It's a privilege.
A family is not just some piece of property you acquire along the way, like a nice house or a new car. Spouses and families are human beings and therefore not be bought, sold or traded (gee, what a concept).
This idea that it's really okay to have be both married AND single, as long as you lie about it and pretend otherwise in public, is sickening and destructive and it's got to stop. If you want to bang every person who will hold still for you, that's great. Go right ahead. But you are NOT entitled to have a spouse and family at the same time because it is so intensely cruel to the husbands, wives and children who have their lives destroyed by such hideously selfish behaviour.
Married or single. Pick one. NOBODY is entitled to have BOTH.
Me, BW WH cheated in corporate workplace for many years. He moved out and filed in summer 2008.

If you want to have an affair, tell your spouse up front. It's the only fair thing to do.

I heard this book was a part of a three part series. The other two are:
Beat your children to show them you love them Remove move brain to increase your intelligence (this one might actually work for those who buy the cheating one)
Wow, this "you're okay, I'm okay, hands-across-America, absolute-free" philosophy has really improved our society, hasn't it (insert eye-roll and projectile vomit here)
I've just about had enough. I'm tired of wearing kid gloves. It's time people either got a clue or formed their own planet in a galaxy far, far away.

Wow. What a scumbag. Did he ever contemplate the act of communicating his 'unhappiness' to his wife BEFORE the great idea of an affair popped into his little wayward head? What makes me angrier is the countless waywards that will use this book as further justification that they are doing the 'right' thing. Yeah, no cookie for him.

Communicating is too much trouble, Limbo. It's easier to be a self-centered twit and drop your pants.

"he felt it made his marriage stronger" Sure it did... and when he was out getting to feel like a player, his BW was at home, looking after house and hearth, prolly feeling like she was doing something wrong because hubby was acting a bit odd and was being a bit mean to her and the kids but she was sure if she just tried a bit harder then he would change back into the loving H she used to have.....

If he had spent the time and energy on his marriage that he spent on affairs and writing a book, he would have a good marriage. Some people just can't put all their eggs in one basket.

Perhaps you guys are being too narrow minded. How dare you think about the community at large when the new religion is "all about ME". In this new religion it is important to focus only on what you want without any regard to the impact you might have on others.
The important thing is to "find your happiness". So what if in the process you destroy the lives of the people around you, YOU get to experience a few moments of titillation and excitement while having your ego stroked. Taking others into consideration is not only time consuming, it gets in the way of unbridled selfishness.
I would imagine this guy will soon be nominated for an award, for being able to "think outside the box" and to encourage the downtrodden to cast off the shackles that society is placing on them. This is all in the name of self expression and the pursuit of happiness. All you nay-sayers are either jealous or lack the capacity to comprehend the enlightened state he has attained. After all God wants HIM to be happy, and it his duty to help enlighten others to the new way of being.
However I would not want to stand in proximity of this individual as I suspect he is a good candidate for being struck by lightning.

People will do anything for $$ even mock the pain we all feel when faced with infidelity. It's wrong and written by someone who doesn't have much of a moral base or any kind of commitment. SELFISH personalities are able to commit adultery or write a book......
