Lots of online tools. Lots of power. Costs 50 bucks. Reports SMS, Pix, web activity, call log, email and GPS logs.

Supports Android 1.6 as well as everything up to 2.1.

Software Geek Lots of apps on one site. Many key loggers and other tidbits including web-watch and stuff like that. Some free. Some with costs. Google each one and see if you can find any reviews before you buy or download one. IT forums might have info on what works and what doesn't since this is a big market for this stuff.

For the PC, the best is still probably Spector Pro. SpectorSoft web site. It's 100 bucks and worth every penny.

Another cheap option for a desk top is a logger that goes inline between keyboard and CPU. Use it to find passwords to emails and such. Then you can log in and check activity yourself. The two main drawbacks are that it can be seen on the back of the machine and that it has limited capacity. It does not give clear logs of what is read on the PC only what is typed on the keyboard.

Whether hardware or software key loggers are used, to install them you need access to the machine and need to run the anti-virus and anti spyware applications and tell them to ignore the key logger activity or they will come up in a report. People with the ability to do their own work on the software end of PCs will also usually find them with enough time. Even HIDDEN applications can be found if you know how to look for them.
