Here is something interesting I read today regarding the type of OW today:

http://www.womenshealthmag.com/sex-and-relationships/woman-who-cheat?page=1

My H is currently having an affair with a 49 year old woman from work who is divorcing her husband(same age as my h) of 17 years and two teenage kids. My husband is 42 and I am 36 and we have 18 mts old son. My husband just filed for divorce after I discovered his affair that he still denies and calls it the alleged affair. He started the affair before our son's 1st birthday. We have been together for 9 years and married for 5 years.

Aren't there anymore people in this world who believe in marriage?

But now there's a new breed of mistresses who, like Dina, doesn't fit the stereotypes of slut or sad-sack. Angelina Jolie was anything but hard up when she allegedly poached Brad from Jen. Film producer Rielle Hunter didn't boil any bunnies after she and political bedfellow John Edwards ended their extramarital affair.

They are not a new breed at all.. You can put lipstick on a pig; you still have a pig. Skankho's have never been portrayed primarily as the bunny boiler in Fatal Attraction; there are many more movies where the adultery is glorified and romanticized.

Remember Bridges of Madison County where Glenn Close is portrayed as a nice sweet farm wife who just happens to meet her "soul mate" when her husband and sons are at the annual county fair? She ruts like a pig in her marital bed with her adultery partner and the movie portrays this filthy pig in a beautiful light.

Nothing has changed. Maybe more people are pigs, but it doesn't mean a pig isn't a pig. Pigs are pigs and always will be.

But....they are still pigs, as evidenced by their behavior. They are no better than a common bar wh*re. Having money does not cover up who they are really are.

My apologies to pigs for the insulting comparison.

Whoa....who put this pic of WH's POSOW up???? Oh ... wait..... lol!!!

I think men are just as disgusting. Whether or not they were "poached," let's keep this real. They poached from the OW's husband just as much as she poached from his wife.

Unfortunately, It seems like the only people who believe in marriage anymore are the ones on this forum.....everyone seems to have lost respect for each other, themselves and the sanctity of marriage.

Streep has had what seems to be a successful, long-term, low-key marriage. She should shun such films.

Stillhere, I agree, we in this forum are the only ones who believe in marriage. I am still trying to make a go of this failed marriage (cant see how though)

WS has apologized and said he will make amends after I left the house since he would not put NC in place. Yet by 2 weeks after he was buying them (OW and OC) gifts as "thank you for work done" (OW works for him). The disappointing part there was he asked me if I wanted one and I said no because it doesnt fit me and yet, a few days after, he goes to ask OW what her shoe size is.

And I guess they do this because their brains have shrank to pea size and then some a mustard seed which shows a big shrub (that's the outside of their brains just a body)

Bummed that Women's Health is promoting filth. I'm sure this article is a hit over on that "other" site.

I used to like that magazine. Won't be buying it anymore.
