not having a super cool job like the Man vs Food guy, Bert the Conquerer, Ghost Adventures, Dhani Jones, etc etc. Even the Blues Clues main host makes a ton of money.

I cook a ton, and I'm fantastic at it. Why don't I have my own cooking show?

Seriously! How am I not finding these jobs?

Are you actively looking for them? Oprah is going around right now looking for her next 'project celebrity'...go make yourself a pitch video and send it in! I'll look for more info for you...

Well, no! I want it to fall in my lap. But, no, seriously, I'm not actively looking. I think this came about over the last 6 months or so when I started paying attention to shows like The Wiggles, Blues Clues, Man vs Food, Bert the Conquerer, etc. And I thought, "Geez! I can do that! I'd love to do that!" I watch a ton of cooking shows and always think that I could easily do a cooking show. And then I follow Man vs. Food and there's quite a few things that he eats that I couldn't easily tackle also.

Then I watched Bert the Conquerer and that broke the straw. I mean the guy goes on roller coasters and bungee jumps...stuff I love and makes a good living doing it.

I think my delimma that I came across as I'm seriously thinking about looking into it is where do I even start looking for jobs like that.

I have a degree in education and have worked with kids in one way or another for the last 12 years. I could easily host a kids TV show. I like to cook, have done so for years, and am very creativeI could host a cooking show. I can eat massive amounts of foodI could easily do Man vs Food shows. I love adrenaline rushesI could do Bert the Conquerer.

Speaking of Man vs Food, Im currently working on a 6 pd burger, fries, and beverage challenge for the end of this month. Im doing well getting ready for it. I had a 3 pd omelet this morning, then ate a banana, and then chugged 42 ounces of water. I could seriously do Man vs Foodgranted Id have to exercise more than I do now to keep that gut down. But Im up for the challenge.

I really don't envy that guy's toilet, though.

Adam from Man vs. Food just seems to get bigger and bigger...I mean, seriously, how is he not 500 pounds by now?!

One year becomes two, two years becomes five, five becomes ten and before you know it, you've wasted your whole life on a problem you can't solve. That's one way to spend your life. -rwinger

I will not spend my life this way.

I'd have to assume that he doesn't eat like that when he's not on the show. And, I'd hope he's getting exercise. But I did think about that myself. I could do it without getting fat...it'd be about calorie manipulation. I doubt he does that though
