I just happened to run across this article today in the Chicago Tribune. As someone who was on her way to D at one point (and not by choice!), and someone who is a constant FB user, I found it amazing what people post. I know the author of a book regarding facebook and marriage. How it can actually enhance your marriage given the right boundaries and agreed upon rules.
The name of the book is called Facebook and Your Marriage by Jason Krafsky.

Luri,
Amen! People are definitely generally idiots. I'm a teacher, and so I KNOW I need to keep my FB clean, even if my students are not my "friends." (Which I have my own personal rule about anyways. No one under 18 except my sister is allowed to be my friend.) I don't care what privacy settings are in place, you NEVER know who can see what, or what people will do with what you post.

I have ALWAYS said, never put anything into writing that you wouldn't be ashamed to have read in court-- especially when email first became all the rage and people just assumed it was like writing a private note in high school. Sheesh.

FB really helped me when I was looking for details about XH and PP for the D.
Even though neither were on FB, PP sisters were on and I was able to obtain family pics (PP and XH), and documentation about all their trips to Vegas.
I should have been a PI.
People are idiots.
