Im new here. My wife of 15 years and 2 children, boy 9, girl 4
decided a month ago that she is miserable and has been for years and want's a divorce. We argued alot but i thought it was normal husband and wife crap. She didn't i guess. Other than that we got along well. There is more to it of course but what it comes down to is, she's in a real rush to end this, i know that it's not infedelity. my quest is how long should we wait to finalize the divorce. I want to save the marriage and i realize feelings change i dont want to end things for her to want to work thing out after her midlife crisis in a couple of months. She thinks thats impossible and her feelings will never change so there is no point in waiting. How long do i stretch this out?

this raises a red flag for me.how do you KNOW there is no infidelity?

You may want to email the mods and ask for your thread to be moved to either the MB101 forum (fixing marriages) or to SaA (surviving an affair)

How do you know for a fact that it's not infidelity? Almost all of us on these forums would have NEVER believed our spouses were capable of having an affair...yet we were wrong.

When you say there's more to it, what do you mean??

You refer to your wife's behavior as a 'Midlife Crisis'....what do you mean by this?
