Today on The View, Joy Behar's comment on the question, "Can you be in love with two people at the same time?" while the discussion was regarding marriage, affairs, etc.

Joy said you can love two people at the same time. "One is a job, the other is a hobby."

I have not liked this woman for a long time, and this just put the icing on the cake.

You know how impressed I always am with your expertise, SB, but I would never have thought that Joy Behar had any mind to "set." rant2

She is a twit, yes. I never watch that show because I am seldom at home during this timeframe! I just happen to have time off between contracts, and I've seen it a few times recently. I don't get it.

Maybe I need a new education or something?

I don't get it.

For which you should be profoundly grateful. If you don't think you've gotten thankful enough yet, try watching her on her own cable "talk" show. MrRollieEyes

I can't stand her. I can't believe they gave her a talk show. I can't see that lasting more than a season.

You know, I think this should send the reporters looking for HER HOBBY.

And she has this long term live-in man, she refers to as her "spousal equivalent" or something like that.

I wonder how he feels being referred to as "a job"?

Tells me that his SF need is probably not being met.

Oh....I tuned in for about 5 minutes on her cable show. She was whining about some people not supporting a cause she backed. She was so annoying I had to change the channel.

She asked the guest why people didn't think the way she did.

I told my H, "Nobody thinks the way she does, because it is hard to focus on Joy Behar 24/7."

And watching a total dolt like her on TV is a JOB -- a job for which I am neither interested nor qualified to hold.

Just another loudmouth who likes to hear herself talk......

I can't stand her either. I tune into her show at night sometimes if there is something going on in the news that I want an update on...like the missing boy or the Mel Gibson tapes....but she usually makes me so irritated that I change channels.

I haven't watched the View in YEARS.....but when they had the President on the news kept showing clips of it....I just can't stand any of them. That Elizabeth is so know it all.....and that Sherry is dumb as a brick....I actually liked Star back when she was on...but over all the show is a waste. of. time.

They should re-name it. "The hen-house" or, "The-gossip mill" , or even "The view from the cheap seats", "The view from trouble-making short-sighted individuals who have the social graces of self-centered children"

Its Jerry Springer in better clothes, (WHich combatant do you side with?) Even Jerry tells us how much he cares and how his show is for education of the masses.

Im not fooled, they are selling crap, even between the commercials. rotflmao

Didn't she try stand up comedy at some point in her life? I wonder if half of what these people say is for shock value - to up the ratings. Who knows. You have to consider motive and what these personality types would do if they lost their voices. It's a driving need to be heard - really heard - and to be the center of attention.
