Actually I had my party last night!!!
My folks were here as well as Doug, my friend Sandy and her kids, my son is gone on vacation, my daughter was at work and my other daughter lives in TN. And my brother isn't talking to me til I apologize to him, a whole another story!! So a small group for my house!
My folks gave me a new gas grill that I will put together later, my dad says that it is payback for all the gifts that he had to put together over the years!!!!
Doug brought me flowers and a bag of goodies with an amazing poem, really meant something to me as I know he was thinking of me as he wrote it and picked out the goodies in the bag.
Sandy gave me goofy nose glasses for the new car, along with a note pad and pen to get phone numbers of guys while cruizing! Also an awesome friends magnet!!!
IT was a good day!!!!
Will go work out and then put the grill together. Then will go to Doug's office picnic with him and the kids. All is good with him, met the SIL and the one sister that I hadn't meet yet and her son. He asked what I thought, and I said the the SIL was the center of attention and there was no reason to compete and he said "wow did you nail that one on the head."
Still have one son to meet.
Suppose I need to get started with my day as I slept in this morning and only have 2 weeks before school starts and have a 2 page list of things that need to be done!!!

I had an awesome birthday!!!!! Had a dinner at my house with my parents, friend Sandy and Doug on Sunday!!!! Received a bag of goodies and a poem from Doug that went with the goodies!!!!
Spent Monday with Doug and his kids at the pool at his apartment, it was good!!!
Sounds like you are doing an awesome job in the nw town with the job, church and gym, hope you find an apartment!!!
